I bought both shampoo and conditioner to reduce the amount of liquid while traveling. I took them on a cruise to see how well they would work. Once you wet them, the bars smell like play dough. Both strips lather well and do the job well until your hair starts to dry. I felt how dry and brittle it was making my hair. This conditioner bar is the first I've ever used so I don't have anything to compare other than regular bottled conditioners. Unfortunately, this conditioner did not live up to my expectations. My hair didn't feel conditioned at all and left my hair very dry to the point that I used my regular bottle conditioner afterwards. I bought shampoo and conditioner. I love that the wands come with labeled strings that I can use to hang them in the shower to dry between uses. However, I can't help but wonder if the ropes were put on the wrong poles. Because when I shampooed my hair, I had absolutely no foaming effect. This conditioner did NOT soften my hair in the slightest. I have fairly basic hair care and it rarely gets tangled. But she actually seemed to be causing it, not preventing it. I've tried a few other bar conditioners that I liked, so I don't think this is a problem.

I've used a lot of shampoos and conditioners. I liked the shape of the wand, it's very easy to attach and hold. Some of the other bars I've used slip out of my hands easily. I also like the built-in hanger feature. I really liked how we foamed up the conditions, that made it extra comfortable for my kids. He had a pleasant smell. Smells great but isn't a conditioner. I have a bar of soap that makes my hair softer and easier to comb. I will still use it but I still need a hair conditioner, it leaves my skin very soft and hydrated so maybe it's just not for my hair.

Pros: - Works well on thick hair that tends to be greasy. The hair became shiny and obedient. - Easy to use. Cons: - Too expensive for what it was. This bar was barely enough for a month of daily use with short to medium length hair.

I love this conditioner. It's so easy to apply, it lathers really well and I love the natural ribbon attached to it that makes it easy to hang in the shower and not get a messy soap dish. It could be a little more moisturizing, but it works well for tangles. I will also buy shampoo.
