I bought both shampoo and conditioner to reduce the amount of liquid while traveling. I took them on a cruise to see how well they would work. Once you wet them, the bars smell like play dough. Both strips lather well and do the job well until your hair starts to dry. I felt how dry and brittle it was making my hair. I don't recommend that, but if you want to try them I recommend bringing a really good leave-in conditioner (love it, it's a 10) to bring moisture back after use. I will look for a different shampoo.
