Came back for more!

These great little curlers leave no streaks. In addition, they are absolutely lint-free. I've used them on cabinets and they work well with the oil based primer and satin paint I use. I don't like them for polyurethane because of the tiny bubbles they leave until the foam is fully saturated. I still prefer the brush for this. I have plans since they are lint free to use them on an epoxy countertop project in the next 2 weeks. Fingers crossed they work for that too.

The roller fell apart. on Paint Tools

Purchased with a Bathtub Panel Kit. The foam roller came off the frame halfway through the second layer. I had to finish with a brush. Now there are spots and streaks everywhere! I don't think it looks bad, but the woman is very unhappy. She won't stop yelling at me! Our marriage is declining rapidly, I cry all the time, the colors aren't that bright anymore. I thought marriage counseling would help, but it only made me question my integrity as a person. I blame that foam roller for everything…

The handle is too big for the #63 Tiny Trimmer Tips.

I called Revain before purchasing to make sure the #112 handle would fit the tiny #63 trimmer replacement heads; they said it should work. I have many gas stations No. 63; That does not work. Problem: A #112 steel shaft is about .233" or 15/64". #63 Mini Rollers have a 3/16 inch or .1875 (12/64 inch) internal clamp. Everything is said. who knows which grip #112 fits on, god knows. Found today (8/2/21) at Home Depot FoamPro #43 "3 inch maxi trimmer". Bought to see if the #63 mini trimmer will…

Terrible! Fell apart and made a mess

I copied and pasted King's review because the EXACT same thing happened to me! TERRIBLE. Made a mess. I bought this to paint my bathtub with epoxy. That would have been fine if it hadn't completely fallen apart about halfway through the project (about 30 minutes of use). The outer foam just fell off the inner cylinder and it was a total mess. I had to use a brush to finish it and the whole project looked really bad after I had to pick out the pieces of foam and smooth out the drips that formed…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Speed

Great to throw away after use for polishing. I haven't personally used this for paint but it works great for oil/varnish mixes or the varnish itself. It can get over saturated which can cause drag so just let the roller do all the work. My only complaint is that they cannot be reused, at least for my paint applications. Abrasives (e.g. white spirit) immediately distort the shape of the inner shaft of the roller. I have found that after both deep cleaning and soaking in oil polish cleaners the…

The epoxy lay flat, didn't crumble or fall apart, and was easy to use.

This roller and the high density, finely machined replacement rollers made for it by the same company were very smooth and responsive to my movements. I used it to renovate my sink with Rustoleum Tub and Tile, a product that often ruins the roller material when painting. It wasn't my experience at all. I changed the rollers on every job (at 1 1/2 hour intervals) which is generally considered a good idea. This allowed each roller to work fully and when the job was done it was still solid and if…
