Folex 36oz Instant Spot Remover for Carpets Review

It took a little effort, but spray, rub (make sure the towel is clean) and voila, this solution works! My Aqua fabric bar stools turned almost charcoal gray after 3 years of use by my 5 year old. They're not as good as new, but my kid broke them, Ralph, and it's a relief to see them looking clean and blue again. Absolutely worth the money.

I don't know what thickness and warmth have to do with this product so I gave it one star. The only good thing was the spray bottle, but the product itself didn't work as advertised on the bottle and was overpriced for being slightly more effective than water, if at all. I don't understand why there are so many positive reviews.

FOLEX is magic! Ease of use is putting it mildly. All you have to do is spray it onto the stain and rub a little with your fingers. Processed grease stains, rust stains (pictured) and coffee stains at home. It works so well that I've been looking for other spots to try it. Haven't tried it on upholstery yet, but that's next! This is the best stain remover I've ever used. I can only recommend that.

We recently moved into a new house with light colored carpet and a few stains came up during the move. Our builder's customer service specialist (who used to work at Home Depot) recommended this product and said it would even remove old stains. I bought this big bottle - and it was great! I have a light colored rag handy and was able to remove stains that were over a week old. The carpet does not become matted or clumped, and the pleasant aroma does not last long.

I don't understand how some users' experiences can be so different. I was so disappointed when my dog peed on the new carpet and was thrilled to have found a Soliton. It didn't work an iota. Similar experience from another user whose review I just read. For those who say it did a good job on pet stains, my only explanation is that it must be an entirely different type of rug. I have been using Folex for a number of years. It works instantly on most stains, breaking surface tension. Spray onto the area to be cleaned. Then use a damp cloth towel and rub the area in different directions to soak up the grease or stain. The towel should be damp but not soaking wet. (A dry towel is not easily absorbed.).
