I have been using Folex for a number of years. It works instantly on most stains, breaking surface tension. Spray onto the area to be cleaned. Then use a damp cloth towel and rub the area in different directions to soak up the grease or stain. The towel should be damp but not soaking wet. (A dry towel is not easily absorbed.). Folex is easier to use in small areas than in large ones. But with patience, by working a small area and moving on, you can withstand a significant amount of dirt in a high traffic area. I recommend vacuuming to soften the texture of the carpet after the grout has dried. ida.
