This extra time helps prevent folk art paint from drying too quickly. It only reduces the drying time by a few minutes, 3 or 4 at most. This is normal for some of my decorative painting projects that I work on quickly. I've also found that it works best with Folk Art brand paints rather than other brand paints.

I have used this product for many years and love it. Why it's not available locally is a mystery, but as long as I can get it online it's fine. One note: the bottles arrived quite damp on the outside (ordered 3) but the lids were tight and the bottles weren't missing. It must have been condensation from freezing and thawing in extremely cold weather. In any case, I'm glad I have a source for this article as I use it regularly.
