Three of these hooks were used to attach a 72 inch wide curtain rod. I used Command Velcro on the two outer hooks and used the hook's own adhesive for the center support. Check if one holds up better than the other. But only 3 weeks later they all look good and seem solid. I so much prefer the look of these sleek metal hooks to the plastic command.

They'll fall off the wall if they're wearing anything heavier than a light jacket. One of the four that seemed to stick the most eventually fell off and took some paint with it, which is the opposite of what you want when you rent a room. I might as well have hooks that I have to screw in so they at least look nice when I undress.

We have been living in our brand new home for 2 months now. I bought them because they said they could hold 16 pounds. The shelf I bought weighed 6.5 pounds. Came home and immediately put the shelf. It looked so cute. I posted a photo of what it looked like. About 20 minutes later we heard a loud crack. I posted a photo after math. I will be returning these hooks

I used 3 of these hooks to hang a small wire basket for a few cones of yarn in my sewing room, the basket was about 16" long and very light One of the hooks failed and 1 stayed on the wall so i ripped the 1 remaining hook off the wall and now i have to patch the wall where the 3 hooks were. They're rated at 15 pounds each, and the thread basket probably only weighed 3 pounds. Pretty disappointed with the product.
