Fiberglass sheeting is definitely better than nothing. The weave feels tight and holds up quite well when cutting. Color will fade over time, especially when exposed to the elements - but the underside of a car or motorcycle will still serve its purpose.

Absolutely awful. I installed this on my Sportster and within a second they were smoking and turning white. Complete garbage. I spent time putting this crap on my bike, now I have to spend more time taking it off again.

I liked the size and length. I didn't like the wear and tear on the fiberglass. It really itched. It was easy to install, it took a while to get the hang of it, but it was easy. I made a set of short plugs that I installed on the 351w. I used silicone paint, it improved the look. I only used about 30 feet so I bought too many. But I'll do it again. The stainless steel strips weren't fun, but they looked good.

Very well fitted exhaust on my 280z. My floor doesn't seem to be heating up. But the color washes off very easily. The moment I put it in the water to wrap it, the water was black, then it dripped and stained everything it touched. Smells a little until it dries. I didn't heat the floor or manifolds so I can't say 100% but it seems to lower the temperature.

I didn't like it at all. First, make sure you wear gloves when installing, the fiberglass inside will eat you up! But less than a week after installation, the black paint burned out! So right now they are half white and half black. looks stupid I don't know much about the prices and quality of this stuff but don't take this one. And it does absolutely nothing for the heat. It's for looks only

So the price makes up for almost all the shortcomings. I made long tubes on my ls. It was horrible and my hands were itchy for days afterwards. Even with long-sleeved gloves and pre-wetting with your hands. Stainless steel clamps suck. I had to flatten the camping part to hold them in place. After about 2 weeks, parts of the black coloring begin to fade in places. I have no idea why. Just random white spots. Overall, this product lives up to my low expectations. I wound 2 pipes on a 83 kz750 twin where the exhaust meets the pipe. I removed two areas that had heat shields. I applied metallic putty (like exhaust pipe putty) to one side to make the foil look better as I had wrapped the other side without it and didn't like the look after fitting and firing. I left it as is and about 1 month after boxing (about 1700 miles) I noticed that with no putty to smooth it out, the pipe was worn and cracked…

***LAST UPDATE*** A few months have passed and the replacement has not been sent as suggested. The film around the engine turned mostly white after less than 100 miles. This film comes in black, looks beautiful when installed and looks like garbage after a few days. *** UPDATE *** Color is fading even more. Basically it is a light gray color with white stripes.
