🧵 Fons Porter R7845 Quilting Quarter Markers Review

This is as advertised. I've made hundreds of HTS's and really thought it would be that helpful. Unfortunately it's not me went back to just drawing the center line of the pattern and using the 1/4" sewing foot. With this tool you draw 2 seam lines. But my biggest disappointment is that the company logo is where the center line is placed with the tool, therefore it cannot be placed exactly.What stupidity on the part of this company.

I used them to make half triangle squares with perfect quilting results. Arrived on time, just as promised. A durable set of seam markers/rulers to help you make precise seams and cuts. I probably saved time by allowing a sewn seam and cut rather than repeating it to get the same results on multiple squares. Another great quilting tool. These markers come with photos and instructions and are beautifully packaged if bought as a gift.

Yes. It can be used to mark 1/4" wide seam lines on either side of the diagonal center for HST, but don't worry about that. It's difficult to hold the fabric accurately without slipping, and your fingers must be good be in gymnastics to manipulate it without pushing it out of line as it's slippery. Don't waste your money cluttering up your sewing space. Any good ruler with an accurate 1/4" edge mark will do better for this Marking Sewing Lines on the HST I'm sorry I wasted my time and money on…

ea. The short ruler is 8 inches and the long ruler is 12 inches. I bought these to use primarily for HST (Half Square Triangles) and unfortunately they aren't the time saver I was hoping for. that "Fons & Porter" is printed in very large type, breaking the lines of the ruler. "Omnigrid" prints a bit smaller, but also breaks lines. With a smaller ruler, the logos take away a large portion of the ruler lines, making measuring/aligning difficult, especially when working with small details that…
