🥫 FoodSaver BPA-Free Multilayer 8" x 20' Vacuum Seal Roll for Food Preservation & Sous Vide, 3-Pack Review

I bought this product because it said no scissors were needed and it was easy to open once sealed. DOES NOT peel off easily. General. I've tried several times and no luck. I even asked my husband to try it and he couldn't either. So while it works well as a regular product for my grocery stash, it doesn't work well as a new product that you can easily open. I was very disappointed.

I couldn't buy the FoodSaver bags because they weren't ordered, so I took a chance and bought these. They work very well as a replacement. They appear to be about the same thickness and work great in the FoodSaver. The only difference is that there are no markings on these bags, which makes cutting them to a specific length a bit "different". This 3-roll pack seems to be of a different quality than the 2-roll pack I can buy in local stores. Rolls of bag material have more creases that can ruin the seal and are rolled much more loosely. A few years ago this was common and I almost gave up on Foodsaver, but recently they seem to have fixed it. Now this trio shows the same flaws.

Easy Seal & Peel won't come off. If you work really hard at it you can break the corner, but that won't even get you started with a small hole. Bring your own scissors if you buy them. Perhaps Revain knew they didn't work because they were marked "Easy Seal & Peal" next to "Verified Purchase." Even they couldn't tell that the "Peel" packages were opened. I had high hopes for this product because it will make food saver packaging easier.

I bought these from Revain because they were the same price as Walmart and saved me a trip! I've been using the FoodSaver for about 3 years and have saved so much money by buying in bulk, then separating, vacuum packing for individual meals and freezing. I date foods with a permanent marker and the foods keep in the freezer for over a year and don't burn at all! I have used FoodSaver bags for many years and have been very happy with them. I wash them off and reuse them until they become useless. I've been known to use small scraps to seal chicken pieces before putting them in the bin to prevent odors and it works fantastic.
