I bought these from Revain because they were the same price as Walmart and saved me a trip! I've been using the FoodSaver for about 3 years and have saved so much money by buying in bulk, then separating, vacuum packing for individual meals and freezing. I date foods with a permanent marker and the foods keep in the freezer for over a year and don't burn at all! I've found that buying a roll saves money and I don't use as much as I can cut to any size I want. This is the only size I buy now because if I need a bigger bag I just cut a long strip. The pockets are smooth on one side and textured on the other. When cleaning or sealing, it doesn't matter which side is up. They are the ideal thickness and quality for freezing. Doesn't apply to this specific role, but if you're using the FoodSaver in general, remember not to block the FoodSaver when you're done. Just wipe it clean and put it away. Eventually, blocking when not in use reduces the effectiveness of the vacuum seal.
