At the age of 68 I have foot problems and need wide and soft shoes (usually "XX width"). These joysticks, like all my previous "regular" sized Footjoy golf shoes, were supposed to be a half size larger than my regular shoes, but I knew that in advance. Very disappointed. I have another pair of FJ comfort poles in size 11.5M that fit great. As this is a different style of shoe with a more athletic fit, I ordered the 11M and to my surprise there was over an inch of room left in the toe box (and I have very long toes!). So I ordered a 10.5 and there was at least 3/4 inch left in the toe box and I could feel a slight restriction on the sides of the balls of my feet (I don't have wide feet). I initially ordered a regular width shoe and it was too narrow so thanks to Revain I easily changed it to the wide version. the wide version is a bit too wide, but overall I liked the shoes for the first 2-3 months. I play 2-3 times a week so I probably played about 30 rounds in 4 months in these shoes and just recently the sole around the toe on my right foot (right golfer) came off.
