Definitely the best price around

Definitely the best price! The Ford dealer wanted over $222 plus shipping. Fixed an issue where I couldn't get the truck out of the parking lot and had to hold down the lock button inside the device. The exchange takes only 10 minutes. Problem solved.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Fading

OEM part worked great

Installed same day, took about 30 minutes or so, took me a while to adjust the original harness gasket. My truck has done 121,000 miles and the gear unlock function sometimes worked. My new OEM part worked great and restored functionality when I moved the park/gear selector switch on my center console.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Have doubts

Perfect fix for my F150 that won't come out of PARK mode

Just what I need to fix my 2007 F150 that won't come out of park mode. The OEM part including all required mounting points (unless you are using the T20 bits which you remove from the old one). The exchange took me about 10 minutes. The packaging was a bit worn but the item was new.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Exactly the part I needed, $100 less than the dealer.

This is exactly the part I needed that the Ford dealer wanted to charge me $249 for. I replaced it myself, it's easy to do, I found a video on YouTube how to do it. Ford wanted to charge me $512 for parts and labor. I made it myself and saved over $350. To hell with the dealer, for a DIY job, add Revain to your parts finder.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

2007 F150 Shift Lock Replacement

Worked great and fixed the shift lock issue. Watch some online videos beforehand. It's not difficult, but it took about 45 minutes. Loosen the shifter, but only remove the driver's side front screw (the rest has loosened enough to flip the shifter and remove the drive). You will need a Star Torx to remove the old actuators and be careful not to lose those two screws. The price was cheaper than I could find locally and I saved myself a few hundred by doing it myself (and I'm not a mechanic). But

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
