🚗 TPMS Transmitter for Ford – 8C2Z-1A203-A Review

We tried some online TPMS retraining suggestions without this programmer and they didn't work. It worked on the first try in less than a minute to relearn all four wheels.

Works great! Programs my 2008 Ford Escape TPMS wheels the moment I press the button next to the sidewall of the tire while the car is in programming mode. Less than a minute to program all four. I have winter tires on various rims and for years I had to settle for a flashing amber light on the dash indicating a tire inflation error. Finally, order a TPMS transmitter and reprogram each wheel, and you'll have to do it again when the winter tires are removed in the spring. I was very pleased when the truck blew its horn to tell me that all the wheels had been reprogrammed and the system was working fine.

Worked great on my 2012 Fiesta. YouTube reset instructions. Apply the brake once, turn the key on and off three times, apply the brake again, turn the key on and off two more times, and leave the key on the third time. The horn should beep once to let you know the car is in learning mode. Place the tool next to the left front valve stem and hold the button down until you hear a beep, the same front right, then rear right, and finally rear left. A beep signals success. Did!

original Ford part and programmed quickly and easily. On the 2017 F150, the sequence is to turn on the ignition and apply the brake. Then press the button 3 times, apply the brake and press the button 3 more times, and the buzzer will sound. Approach the driver's side front wheel and hold the button near the valve stem until the beep sounds. Move clockwise around the car until all four wheels are done. You're done and the dash indicates the tutorial is complete.

Worked great when I fitted my winter wheels on my 17 RS! However, he has no real instructions. On the web I found that I used the danger button 6 times which didn't work for the correct training mode. Turns out you have to switch ignitions and hit the brake pedal a few times to get into the new TPMS learning mode. 100% recommend this tool as it only took about 1 minute to train all my sensors. This works on most Fords. Bought after replacing the rims and the OEM gauges needed a larger strap. Conflicting information has been found online about this working on a 2016 Ford Escape. Yes indeed. One thing I did wrong was hold the button down until the horn beeped. Found a video of someone pressing and releasing a key until it beeps. The LED will then go out and you can continue with the next bus. I believe this is the right way.
