Description of πŸ” Solid Brass Heavy-Duty Valve Switch

Made from high quality H90 brass, this brass ball valve is robust and durable. In this respect, it is the ideal plug valve for high quality shut-off valves in the chemical and food industry or in the home or garden. The sides of the dispenser have female threads in accordance with ISO 7-1 (EN 10226-1) M-M. The internal passage of the drain tap is straight for optimum and complete passage and therefore has a low flow resistance. The permissible operating temperature is -25Β°C + 180Β°C and the maximum working pressure is 40 bar. The lever handle mounted on the top is used to close and open the ball valve, easy to use, pressure free or no pressure. The spherical seal is made of PTFE for maximum stability and durability even at very high temperatures. Ball valves are widely used in mechanical equipment, industrial equipment, water supply and drainage equipment, for example in gardens, water pumps, corner rainwater tanks, external taps, rainwater connections with buckets, rainwater collectors, water pipes, etc. This high pressure ball valve can be used as a rotary valve for steam, saturated steam, hot water, or as a plug valve for heating. The ball valve is suitable for pressures up to PN 40. The spindle is fixed in the relief area and the valve has an anti-static device.

It has two identical ends - I needed a male end and a female end.

Unfortunately I didn't see or didn't understand, but there are two females here? ends and there is no male ending making it useless to me. I needed a man and a woman, I'm sure it will be useful for some applications haha, just not what I expected. It looks sturdy and should work for something.

Thread depth in ball valves

I installed these valves on the duct. I couldn't get her to stop licking, even with pipe lube and teflon tape. It turns out that the thread does not go deep enough into the valve. If you tighten the pipe it will go down and no tightening will stop the leak. I ended up cutting an eighth of an inch off the pipe to stop it from flowing.

Pros
  • valves
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Nothing but trouble

I've tried everything to seal valve threads with pipe thread lubricant. I used a proprietary thread sealant. For a long time I couldn't understand what that valve thread was. But the valve continued to flow out from under the thread. I've never had this problem. I went to the store and bought a valve and had no problems. The valve I bought from the store sealed the threads easily.
