The material is nice and strong and other reviews say the zippers work great! However, it does not have an appropriate number of sections for a set of board game dice. If you want to travel with it, it doesn't have a handle. This makes it bulky and unwieldy to take with you.

I can't recommend this highly enough if you're DMing somewhere unfamiliar. Very high quality. Personally, I have several sets of dice, figurines, initiative cards, index cards, pawns, and craft figures made of cardboard, gems, and pens; everything is convenient. The small case is great for multiple choice figures and other DM surprises. I only take out the removable dice tray while playing and load it with scheduled session stuff.

finally my bones are fine! I hate digging around looking for what I need and that keeps everything nice and pretty. That's 14 full sets minus a probability die that I never used (i.e. 84 dice). And in the top zip pocket - all 84 and much more. I bet I could put 200 more dice in there. Did a test with the lid closed using the strap provided and everything stayed in place! This thing can probably hold 400 dice. I need more bones!

This dice box is my favorite. It is durable and very portable. It also has a beautiful look. I like the compartments separating the dice. This eliminates the "fishing" in the sea of cubes in search of certain cubes. In my opinion there is only one downside. There are 6 different dice commonly used in D&D or any d20 game and there are 5 compartments in the box. I ended up combining my 8 and 4 sides, but it would be ideal with another compartment. For a while I had separate cases for dice and pencils/pens. But since I got this, I can pack everything in one handy box! The inner dice tray can be pulled out and I use this side as a bowl to roll my metal dice. Trying Dice is just perfect for keeping my miniatures safe without crushing or bending them when the case is closed. I really like this product, it holds 10 of every type of dice I need to play D&D with friends and leaves a great deal open to using it as a tray. I was a little wary of buying online without reviews but I'm glad I took the risk. The zippers close smoothly and I expect them to hold up well to constant use. The fabric in the box is smooth and surprisingly doesn't attract cat hair. (Gray hair usually covers black fabric within minutes of entering my home.) An unexpected plus! First let me say that this case is exactly what is advertised. I knew what I was getting when I ordered. That being said, there are a few things I would like to change about it: 1.
