I absolutely love this kitchen chopper. When I bought it I was afraid it wouldn't work properly and I only bought it to see if it would work well but to my surprise it works a lot better than I thought it would. Bought this for the office because I HATE chopping onions for tuna salad and loud food processors annoy people. It's durable, very easy to disassemble and clean, and most importantly, it works great. 99% of the time I use this for onions because I can't put into words that it's a stand alone vessel that allows me to get the tiny bits I want , without all the tears. But it's also great for other things: peppers, cucumbers, etc. But the blades are sharp, so a tip: keep the blades in a closed container in the sink so you don't cut and snip your finger. I found this unit did what it says it did BUT after cleaning it before first use I found it a bit difficult to get it working to put back together. The blade section had a place to go in, but it fell off the small stand at the slightest movement. When I figured I had to hold the blade section when loading the veggies I wanted to chop, I found I had to be careful what you put in because it pushes the blade away from the tiny stand that keeps the blade straight should.
