Works well, compact, attractive, great sound.

Compact, I tried Bluetooth (connected to my phone easily and reliably, despite asking permission to access my call log and contact list - right? Spyware? But it still worked when I denied those permissions ) and I tried AUX. The sound is good and I bought new speakers to make it shine. I will change this to five stars if it still works in a few years. In practice, however, the guarantee is only 30 days (Revain return). I really won't pay for international shipping to get warranty service in…

Compact, elegant design and good sound quality

Can be used as a component of an inexpensive audiophile system. Be sure to connect the outputs to 4 ohm or 6 ohm speakers - I paired it with a Dayton Audio 652-Airs and a 115w Sony subwoofer. Managed to get it to the point where a live recording sounded, well, live, which is usually the goal of audiophile systems. It requires some fiddling with your system and source EQ. It looks like the Fosi 2120A's presets put signals through an extra stage of EQ (in addition to, or maybe instead of, the…

Awesome!: Amplifier

This little amp is really good. The build quality seems great and it has all the features I needed and wanted. I like a subwoofer for my 2.1 system. The LCD display is sharp, easy to read and not too bright. I use it connected to a PC via USB and both Win10 and Linux recognize it immediately and work without problems. I'm using it with a new Micca RB42 set and it sounds great, but I have no other experience with speakers so I can't specifically say it sounds better/worse than any of my other…

Great class D amplifier with many features!

This is my first class D mini amp for home use. I've heard a lot of complaints about Class D amplification, and I usually listen to Class AB on my main system, so I didn't know what to expect. I've never used my computer to listen to music seriously, but I'm pleasantly surprised that the sound is attractive, clear, detailed and spacious, even on a set of very cheap 3-way speakers (8 ohms nominal/40 watts max) ! The speakers are connected with thick 12 gauge wire, can this help the sound…

Fosi Audio DA2120A Great little amp

I bought this amp for my daughter for Christmas along with a pair of Polk T15 8ohm bookshelf speakers and an Audio Technica turntable. It all sits on a 5ft wide dresser and we didn't want to put the turntable on top of a full size receiver. We have a turntable in the center of the dresser, with speakers at each end of the dresser and an amplifier on the left side of the turntable. The unit appears to be quite solid and well made like the Fosi Audio unit. There's nothing fancy about the remote…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Slightly torn

After the RMA, the second device works great!

The first device generated unwanted noise for the active subwoofer. I've tested with multiple cables and even multiple subwoofers. The second device doesn't make any unwanted noise and sounds like it costs a lot more than this one. I use my old home theater gear for speakers and they sound as good as a $600 Denon AVR. I'm connected via a Macbook Pro, but you can get the same results on a PC. The reason for such high sound quality is that you can connect via USB (the blue cable in the picture)…

  • A dream come true

Great for desktop use

I have this configuration to power a pair of bookshelf speakers on my desk and a powered subwoofer. I've been looking for a cheap desktop speaker amp with a coaxial input and a subwoofer for a long time. The form factor and specs of this device were attractive enough to pull the trigger. The first impression of the device is good. The metal body feels solid and smooth, with no rough edges and a nice finish. The volume wheel is also made of metal and the turning steps are tactile. However, the…

  • Wide range

I was a big audiophile for many years (snake sized cables, expensive air conditioners etc) but a few years ago I matured into the lite version (nameless cables are just as good as expensive ones), cheap, but great sounding components etc). I'm preparing to move, so I packed up my main system (worth $3,000) and bought a Fosi as a compact and lightweight emergency amp/DAC to last until the move was complete. Considering the price I wasn't expecting much. I was wrong. This amp is shockingly good…
