Obviously a copy of the Rapid box, but damn this one's good too. Comparing them reveals differences in build quality: the Fotodiox is slightly thinner and has a heavier plastic construction. But if you want something that works and works well, you'll be very impressed with this guy. I've used it for several photo shoots including a 3 day Indian-American wedding and the results from the softbox are excellent. The great advantage of the device is its portability, ease of installation andโ€ฆ

Top $60 Spent On Photo Gear Most Versatile Compact Tool

Pros: Lightweight. compact. it fits in my backpack. Good quality shades. good light diffusion. Fast folding and unfolding. You can control with one hand while shooting with the other. Accessibility Cons: It's plastic and tends to brake when it hits a hard surface. In fact, mine broke when I hit soft grass. I cast a new aluminum grip and now it will last me forever. If you're on a tight budget and mainly shoot portraits or fashion on location or in run-and-gun situations, this isn't a problemโ€ฆ

easy to use for lighting

About a month ago I finally bought a soft box for my flash. I have a few modifiers for my flashes but it took me forever to settle on a softbox as I wanted something full featured, easy to use and fairly large. I finally settled on a 24" Fotodiox F60 Quick-Collapse Hex softbox. Now I can't comment on how it will hold up over time as I haven't had it that long reviews about it are mixed. Price range and seems well built for this price, it has a few plastic parts that may or may not hold up wellโ€ฆ

One of the easiest softbox solutions ever!

I have been happy with Fotodiox products over the past few years and when I came across some similar products but Fotodiox had them for almost half the price I was glad to try them. I saw a 20" but settled on a 24". I was a bit apprehensive at first as everything is plastic except for the hardware which felt like a cheap toy. This softbox simplifies on-site installation. It comes with a zip pouch (which really works) and once you've installed the two light diffuser panels, you'll never have toโ€ฆ
