Unwanted adapters are best in Adapters & converters

I bought this adapter to use a Canon LTM lens on a Leica see L and this Leica cost me $80 to repair due to a bent focus lever. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • Lens accessories
Cons
  • The list will be long.

You get what you pay for.

I'll keep it, but first I need to take my dremel with me. requires fine sanding, lots of burrs and sharp edges. but for $7 I should have expected the same. When I put it on my camera, it was difficult to take it off without snagging on the rangefinder clutch. I'll work on it a little and it should be fine. I have several Leica rings as models. To update. After a bit of work with my dremel it works fine. holds well, no play. I think for $7 I'll do a quality check and redo it.

Pros
  • Camera and photo
Cons
  • This makes me nervous

Designers need to look carefully

When I got mine in the mail the clip on my M6 that holds the lens/adapter couldn't fit. Upon careful examination, it was found that the groove intended to engage the clamp was 1-1/2 millimeters longer. Aggravating. Luckily I have a Dremel so I sanded the groove a bit and now it snaps into place. So overall for the price it works. Just annoying that I had to process it further - something that should have been tested and fixed beforehand. I also got an M39 adapter for Leica M with 50-75 frames…
