Great for e-bikes. best in derailleurs

Although Box tells you it's not for e-bikes, I installed it on my Gary Fisher 8 speed Trek bike, which I recently upgraded to an e-bike have rebuilt. So far it's a very smooth and very good switch. One of the best I've tried.

Pros
  • derailleurs and derailleurs
Cons
  • Not sure

As long as it's nice for rear derailleurs

I don't want to sound like I'm not convinced. This thing is definitely better than the TourneyTX derailleur on my kids bike. It crunched on my 5th ride. The thing is heavier, but certainly more stable and has grip. Who builds without a clutch.

Pros
  • rear derailleurs
Cons
  • communication with seller

An excellent budget solution for converting to 1x8 format.

I recently converted an XS hardtail for my daughter. It was originally a 3x8 but I knew I wanted to use a simplified gearbox. I paired this rear mech with a box derailleur and a cheap crank, 11-42 cassette and NW sprocket (all from Revain). Installation was easy and I only had to do the bare minimum except basic switch setup. Lever travel is firm and precise. In general I am very happy.

Pros
  • Switch
Cons
  • Functionality

Works well. Good build quality.

I bought this to upgrade my nephew's bike (Trek 930 Singletrack) to a 1x drivetrain with more rear cassette spacing. 11-40T Sunrace. Unfortunately, this derailleur cage isn't long enough to clear the last two rings of the cassette unless you use a derailleur extender. I used a Wolf Tooth RoadLink derailleur extension and it was enough to free a 40T ring. The nephew is very happy with his bike and the gearbox, four 8-speed rear derailleurs and gear combination work well. You will likely need to…
