After I put it to the test, I was impressed by how well this evaporator core worked in my truck's AC system. It's efficient and has improved the airflow significantly. Fixed as expected in my 05 Excursion (my original was dirty). The tech said it worked but would recommend I use Motocraft. Whenever possible, use genuine Ford/Motorcraft products.

I had a slow leak in my 05 Ford Excursion. Draining coolant behind a canister was driving me crazy. An analyzer used to detect a slow intermittent leak from the internal vents, meaning it must be the core of the evaporator. The part went without any problems and I have an ice maker again. This part was more than duplicated at the local auto parts store. Looks and fits identical, comes with new drilled tube and o-rings.
