This outlet is as close to factory as possible for Chevy and other GM vehicles, high quality cast aluminum they use a standard gasket not one those pathetic o-rings that always leak.

The product I received does not match the photo. The one I received looks like the roughly formed "Dorman" spout in the attached picture. Very disappointed but must be used to start the car. Many people have pointed out that this is cast aluminum, the one I received is cast iron as can be seen from the magnet I stuck to it in my drawing. Rough block surface, but the seal surface is smooth. Terribly poor packaging from Revain to put this in a paper bag mailbox as it weighs about 2lbs and the box has been torn. The seal broke into several pieces, but I plan on using the o-ring anyway.
