Digital outside micrometer with ball-style anvil/spindle pair and choice of measuring range measures inside and outside diameters of sleeves, collars, tubing, and other curved and cylindrical surfaces. LCD performs direct inch/metric conversions and has a switchable resolution of 0.00005" and 0.001mm. Friction thimble provides smooth and quiet operation, and is suitable for one-handed operation. Certified IP54 for dust and water protection. RS-232 output provides ability to export readings to a computer (cable not included).

Waste of Money - my new review

I purchased electronic micrometers from an Industrial and Scientific store, hoping for accurate measurements, but what a letdown. The packaging was great, but the actual product was a disappointment .The cons outweighed the pros with inaccurate readings and unresponsive buttons. The only silver lining is the seemingly sturdy construction and potential for durability. Overall, I do not recommend this product..

Terrible quality. I found a rusted battery inside

Terrible quality. Inside I found a rusted battery. It does not work. Battery terminals bent. The plastic adjustment knob does not work.
