Measuring faces are fully hardened, precision ground and microlap finished to assure exceptionally accurate measuring. Ratchet stop thimble, easy zero adjustment on the sleeve, satin chrome finish on barrel and thimble. Meets or exceeds Federal accuracy specs.

Made in China according to sizing

Maybe it was just me but I couldn't get consistent measurements from this mic so I returned it. I ordered a Mitutoyo as a replacement.
