Great value - Test, measure and verify

I like these. I have had the Mitutoyo version for many years but needed a larger set and they did not disappoint. Accurate enough for what I do (hobby level editing, of course), and no batteries to run out just when you need them!

Pros
  • Test, measure and verify
Cons
  • Some bugs

They work great and very well packaged

They work great and very well packaged. My only issue with them is that they are advertised as "digital" when in fact they aren't. These are actually digital counter mics, meaning they have a mechanical counter on the side instead of a digital readout. If you know how to read a micrometer, it doesn't matter, but it's not a problem. Truth in advertising, that's the point.

Pros
  • Outside Micrometer
Cons
  • Doubtful

Amazing set of 0 thru 3 mics

For the money I think everyone should have one of these, I would love to find one in a zero thru 6 set. The fit and finish is excellent and the only gripe I can say is that the heat shield is a thin cheap plastic that screws onto the micrometer frame, not glued. Of course, I just got lucky when I first used the 1-inch mic, I accidentally slipped off the edge of the bench and it missed my rubber floor mat by about an inch and the plastic on the side broke off. The good news is that even after…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Concise instructions
