Economical Victory Cross Country Rear Shock Pump Solution

I lost the pump for my 2015 Victory Cross Country. Decided to give it a try. It fits Vic rear shock. I think I can also use this to set the Vic tires to the correct air pressure. It's also a more economical solution than the Victory air pump.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Minor repairability

Great hand pump! in accessories

I have a Victory Cross Country and needed to inflate the air shock to my weight. Yes it got a little fluffy and my bike paid the price. I got it last Monday and it was so easy to use, I set my damper up at night in the low light and it was like a couple of spouses, a couple of pumps and that's it! That's easy. It stays in my saddlebag. It's worth it.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Short manual

Works great well for sport

I bought this for my Harley Tri-Glide air shocks. A Harley hand pump costs many times more with no discernible benefit other than the Harley lettering on the side. (HD stands for one hundred dollars in Harley-speak). It's nice and small and fits in a saddlebag - you hardly notice it. I've never used it on tires so can't comment on that - my air shocks take very little air to inflate and this manual air pump fits all aspects. Highly recommended for this purpose - have fun!

  • Few competitors

Small, robust and inexpensive.

Robust construction and very functional. Less than I thought. This is a lossless pump. You screw it onto the air valve and it reads the current psi. The rear air shocks on my Harley tricycle had a pressure of about 5psi. I needed 30psi. About 10 light pumps and they were at 30psi. If you need to decrease the psi pressure, this unit has a bleed button. You simply press the button several times to release the pressure again. Disconnect the pump from the shock air port. Ready. This pump rocks!

For the price it does the trick!

This worked when the Rock Shox pump I borrowed from a friend wasn't working. The Rock Shox pump did not include an outlet valve on the shock stem for my Rock Shox SID. Looking at the Rock Shox pump versus this one, I didn't expect the Fox Shox pump to actually do anything different, but it activated the exhaust valve and I was able to pump up my shock. The only problem with this pump is that it maxes out at 150psi while the Rock Shox has 300. I only needed 130psi so can't complain. For the…

Works perfectly! Bought for two different bikes.

Works great! I bought it for 2 different bikes with airbag shock absorbers. One is the HD Road King and the other is the CanAm Spyder RT. The Spyder has a larger airbox than the RK, so refueling takes longer. Not much air is expelled with each punch, but for an air punch it's ideal. I do NOT recommend it for a tire due to the low air volume. However, it is not intended for such use. The built-in pressure gauge seems very accurate, and the Schrader valve plugs in and out with no air loss, which…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Very well made and at a great price.

I'm not sure what's wrong with this pump. I've tried this several times and it didn't seem to work properly. It pumps up to 50psi in one stroke. The Harley Road King Classic drum kit is under 20psi. I tried it several times and it was always the same. I tried using this to inflate a bike tire (too small for that btw, it works, but it would take too long to be practical) and it started to work properly. I tried the shocks again and was able to pump them up to the right pressure. Unfortunately it
