🍒 Zinc Alloy Cherry and Olive Pitter by Fox Run Review

I purchased this item specifically to use with olives. Unfortunately, the pit wears away the bottom half of the olive. Since I bought it to stuff olives, it doesn't quite work. I think cherry will be good.

Fox Run Cherry and Olive Pitter - Chrome I bought one of these at a local store to peel cherries for canning. It broke as soon as I started using it. The rivet was processed incorrectly. I would not trust this brand anymore. However, if you can get one with a good rivet, holes will pop out easily, but leave a very large hole. I would recommend preparing the kernels in a large bowl or sink as the juice will splatter everywhere.

I decided that this product was wrongly rated 1 star because at the time of purchase there were only two reviews would have. . I should have listened. The product fell apart when untying small ties. I didn't even have time to use it on a cherry. The center rivet is unreliable and even though I received an unbroken one, the construction of this product seems very cheap and flimsy. It's not what you'd expect from a cheap little metal tool. If you want a cherry pit, this is not what you need.
