Very comfortable and great tread

My old wading boots slipped a lot in mucky bottoms. I used them mostly for duck hunting. These feel like hiking boots. They have a lot of ankle support and super tread.

Pros
  • Versatile design looks great with various types of clothes
Cons
  • Not as versatile as some other outdoor footwear options

Great boots good for me

I am very happy with my purchase.boots are lightweight, comfortable and provide good tracktion.just got them so don’t know about durability

Pros
  • TRACTION & TRUE SAFE GRIP – Slip proof rubber soles feature advanced traction for better stability when walking in rocky stream beds, and provide a safe grip on slippery rocks. Stay sturdy on your feet! Rubber rand guards add extra protection to your toes. On mud, sand, wet grass, or any other challenging surface – you’ll be surprised how sure-footed you feel with Foxelli men’s wading boots!
Cons
  • Sizing may not be consistent with other footwear brands

Great boots and look nice!

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend. He says they are super comfortable and really enjoys them. They are a lot lighter than expected and great quality! Will have to post an update once they are taken out to the water.

Pros
  • Quality constructed boot, excellent ankle support, great for fly fishing at a good price
Cons
  • May take time to break in

Lightweight with superb traction.

These are the lightest wading boots I have ever worn. Superbly comfortable with a very deep lug sole. I added carbide studs to the sole. Used them last night on an extremely long hike involving a very, very, steep hill then a fast rocky river. Pleased with their light weight and especially their traction. Glad I made the purchase!

Pros
  • These are great quality boots buy a pair
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in cold weather

Comfortable for my opinion

I got these boots to fit over two pair of wool socks and booties from my waiters for a trip to Alaska. I’m a size 9 1/2 so I ordered size 11 and it was perfect with my double socks and booties. They were comfortable for all day fishing. I want to use them so far for several days but I was very happy with the fit and the comfort. The longevity is yet to be determined.

Pros
  • Ordered 1 size up fit perfect with waders walk a lot fishing very comfy
Cons
  • Not very breathable

Good Boots for a very reasonable price

I am size 12 but I like to wear thick sox plus the neoprene of my waders, I bought size 13 and it fits well.I used the boots twice already and they do a good job. The soles have a good grip on the bottom. They dried much faster than my old boots. I hope they will last as long as advertised. Good buy!

Pros
  • Superior quality materials ensure that the boots never fall apart on you
Cons
  • Sole may delaminate or detach over time

Comfortable light weight correctly sized wading boot

I bought these to replace some very good Orvis shoes that were slightly small for their supposed size. I wear a European 46.5 / US 12+, but the Orvis size 13s were too short with my waders on and cramped my toes. The Foxelli size 13s are much more comfortable, just large enough to accommodate the neoprene feet of the waders and feel good.

Pros
  • Prevents debris from entering the shoe
Cons
  • May not be able to handle heavy loads or equipment

Great boot good for me

I ordered my normal shoe size. I have worn them with my waders and they fit well. I have worn them with heavy socks while wet wading and they are just a little big. I like that I can wear them either way and still hike the trails along a stream. Traction is above average for a non lugged boot.

Pros
  • Offers ample foot support for stability
Cons
  • May not be appropriate for use in extreme weather conditions

Worked well so far.

Only have used them once. The boot seemed to have stretched when he got out of water. Not sure why - had tied them tight when he started. Would recommend - did not want to pay a lot for wading boots since he does not fly often.

Pros
  • Very comfortable, lots of support, easy to walk in on land and in a stream. Great value for the price.
Cons
  • Not recommended for long periods of standing or walking

Great boots so far in my review

There is still some sliding on rocks because there's no felt. But they are still pretty good. I needed some boots quick for a fishing trip and these did the job. I would recommend buying 1 size up, even though it works with the current size, because when you first put them on with stock foot waders, it's really tight, can't move your toes. It's not until after walking around for several minutes that you can move your toes, and even then, it's a bit snug. If I were to buy these again, I would…

Pros
  • Comes with a one-year warranty, giving you peace of mind as you purchase
Cons
  • Potential for holes or tears to develop in the material over time

Very good quality and fit at a fair price

I will use these boots for two flats fishing outings to Christmas Island and Aitutaki. I will update my experience after those trips in the next couple of months. At 2.6 lbs a pair, they are a pound lighter than the two most popular Flats Boots offerings in the market. They also have more room in the width than the other offerings.

Pros
  • Great, you just definitely need to own a boot dryer, they don't really dry out on their own.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to put on or take off quickly

You can use as a hiking but not for wading.

I wade and hike river as pro-fishing.this time i make a wrong choice on selecting my wading boots.wading boots should always have nice drainage system which helps you to walk and hike with easy.this boots add weight on your body instead of draining water. It holds quarter liter of water on each boots which is bulky.and the upper part of boots has nice cushion on it to save your ankle but found out its made up of regular foam (foam mostly use in mattresses) which is not good idea to be use in…

Pros
  • Highly breathable and lightweight, making them perfect for long walks and hikes
Cons
  • Laces may become tangled or knotted easily

Boot for muddy wet areas

I just received the boots and they came in a well packaged box, the boots themselves on inspection are attractive and look well built and light weight. I can not attest to the durability, comfort, or quickness in. drying as I have yet to even wear them. A quick check of the fit suggests they should be comfortable during wear. 4 stars over all is for the attractiveness of the boot, weight, and the appearance of a well built boot. time and some use will determine if the rating goes up or down.

Pros
  • Good pricing for a good quality product . Did a lot of shopping before buying.
Cons
  • Not recommended for rocky terrain

I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet (traveling). Tried them on with wet-wade inserts, and the fit was as advertised. I've gone through several wading boots, and these look to be as good and sturdy as my old Simms and Orvis boots. I had to get rubber soled boots for a trip to WY next week. I've always used felt soles, I hope to try them on my local tailwater before I go. That will tell me if they meet my criteria.

Pros
  • Can be worn in any type of weather conditions
Cons
  • Not as breathable as some other options

Quality boot on my review.

I am a pretty avid fisherman.Ive had the boots for almost a year, which is plenty of use.I have worn them wading the rivers.I have worn them a lot in my float tube.I am amazed by the condition the boots are still in!Ive had all the big names,Ive paid 3x for the supposedly "lightweight" boots that start with an "S",ha.You cant beat this boot for comfort and wear ability.Ill definitely buy these again, probably before they wear out( stash away),so I know I can keep enjoying them for years.

Pros
  • PREMIUM DESIGN – Unique wading boots are expertly designed with precise attention to detail. They have a lace hook for easy on and rubber kick log for easy off – remove your wading shoes without even using your hands! Drain holes ensure that wader boots drain quickly and effectively. Durable plaid nylon upper helps prevent sand or debris from entering boots. We are sure these will become your boot of choice.
Cons
  • Laces may not be as durable as other components

Great product - my new review

This review is based on product construction, materials, size, comfort and cool factor. I sized up one size from my shoe size and they fit great. Although, I would say that they run on the narrow side. Boots appear to be constructed from quality material. For the price point compared to other boots, these are a no brainer……I would highly recommend.

Pros
  • Boots are light and durable. Haven't used them much do to weather.
Cons
  • To go on my waders.

Hopes this helps the women

I wear a women's 9 to 9 1/2 depending on the shoe. I can wear a men's 8 to 8 1/2, again depending on shoe. My actual foot, no socks measures 10" long and 4" wide. I ordered a man size 9 in this boot. I wear women's fishing waders, neoprene stockings, so I don't have extra foot material If you wear men's wader you'll probably have extra material scrunched at toe. Keep that in mind when you choose your size. I also wear socks. Fishing in Alaska we have some cold @ss water. Size men's 9 fits me…

Pros
  • good deal.
Cons
  • Poor arch support

Great boots for my opinion

These boots are just what I was looking for! They fit well and are comfortable. They don't get too heavy after being in the water. They held up perfectly after doing some bushwacking in Alaska!

Pros
  • Perfect fit, comfortable and lightweight. Great price!
Cons
  • Not very stylish

Great boots for a value

Used these boots on a recent three day fly fishing trip. I was in the water close to 10 hours a day. I found them to be very comfortable and stable. No issues with craftsmanship at all. Very easy to get on and off over my neoprene bottles. A friend I was fishing with has a "big name " brand boot and comment on how my boots were lighter and easier to take on and off.

Pros
  • Thin yet durable rubber soles provide maximum traction and control
Cons
  • May not provide enough grip on slick surfaces
