Buy another scanner

This scanner does not automatically download the VIN on a vehicle. (Tried domestic, European and Asian cars) Tried to enter VIN manually. Didn't load. Enter the car model and year. Finally got around to scanning the codes. OBD codes are read, but inactive codes cannot be erased. I tried scanning the SRS and ABS, it showed the codes for systems the car wasn't equipped with, which was misleading. After about 30 minutes I gave up and go back.

You need to know how to navigate

After selling products with menus and submenus in a tool with many options to work with, I think some people will find it difficult to use. I'm just learning how to use it and how to navigate. From what I think it will be more than suitable for the purpose I bought it for. In fact, I think I'll find it very useful over time. I think the instructions could be a bit clearer, but that might just be me.

needs a lot of work

font is very small at least it should have been 2 X, updates are terrible, no display shows the update, still image with update in progress, that's all Internal storage for you not having to constantly look up the VIN number #beep is very annoying hard plastic body no rubber for slippery hands what they thought a specific european car i worked on.

UPDATE IMMEDIATELY in Code Readers & Scan Tools

No connection to most of my cars even after entering vin. Pretty disappointing considering my $20 Walmart scanner can connect to all of them. Update: I still hate the scanner, it doesn't read the programming codes on the vehicle, only the hard codes that turn on the engine light. My Bosch scanner does more and costs half as much. Works well but difficult

This is a good product, durable and easy to install. It gives basic information easily and that may be enough for most. But any deep analysis of your car with it is very difficult. It provides tons of data that is difficult to interpret and practically requires a special level to understand. I wanted to check if my car would pass emissions testing, which this device should tell you with ease. So I've been looking for a good OBD2 and ABS scanner for a while. I've bought a lot of used cars and couldn't find a good, reliable scanner that wouldn't break my bank and is easy to use. Wanted it to work. . . but no luck

The SRS warning light on my 2014 Nissan Altima SV came on a few days ago. . . most likely the connector is loose. The company can't be sure what it has; very misleading receipt compared to the advertisement.
