Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

- If you want to put a long video card, then buy an ATX power supply 15cm long and ALWAYS not modular. The video card will block the ability to connect wires to the connectors. - If you install a long video card, you will have to remove one disk holder to fit the video card. This is already minus two possible disks. - If you install a radiator with a cooler 12 cm high, then it is possible to add only one 5" disk in the far left place. Otherwise, just do not plug wires into it. The fan from…

Pros
  • - Not a big size; - Well ventilated; - Quiet built-in fans; - Well thought out inside. Many do not like it, but for me just; - Ability to add many disks (if you put a short video card and a small heatsink); - Possibility to put a radiator with a height of 12 cm; - The case itself is strong, rigid, does not rattle or make noise.
Cons
  • - Maybe not very stylish.

I wasn't thrilled with the product, but it can be used.

Compared to the Define series of the same manufacturer, this is just some kind of shame. If everything is well thought out and organized there, then everything here is rather sad. It is worth taking solely because of the appearance and only for those who are not going to change the insides often. Got pros: 1. Relatively compact. 2. Up to 6 hard drives can be installed. 3. Fans and reobas included. 4. Good appearance. Has cons: 1. Not suitable for those who are going to periodically change…

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

I was exhausted looking for a mini-ITX mother for it with support for ECC RAM under LGA1150, but still I found E3C226D2I on the secondary in March. Now I would collect under ryzen. I made a NAS out of it under the fryakha, it stands quietly in the corner and just works, and another system unit is on top of it. I did not find a better option for myself this spring, so that it is small and under six hard drives for raidz2. Although regular fans do not howl like server ones, they are still…

Pros
  • Six 3.5" hard drives fit in, they are well ventilated and hang on complete hangers with rubber spacers for bolts. Climbed a normal size radiator with a cooler on the processor. Got an ATX power supply. It seems that a full-sized video will also fit if you sacrifice a suspension for two hard drives. Looks awesome, looks like it makes me happy.
Cons
  • Mother mATX does not fit. If I could fit in, I would take another such node for the main system unit. It is inconvenient to get to the connectors on the mother when all six hard drives are connected, you have to remove the heatsink from the processor. On the other hand, this drawback was noticeable for the first two days, then there was no need to disassemble the case. Expensive.

I like it, thanks for the quality product.

the case is used for home network storage, so neither a tower cooler for a processor, nor a video card, but it was still inconvenient to assemble - cable management, as already mentioned, is so-so. with static trouble - the cat passes by, does not even rub against the case - the system is rebooted, it helped to seal the power button with electrical tape, but this is somehow wrong, it seems to me. and the fans are really noisy. I can't help but be happy for those who have a noise level of 18 dB,

Pros
  • almost the only case of this size in which 6 HDDs can be installed; beautiful :)
Cons
  • sensitive to static

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A high-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

Before buying components for assembly in this case, I read a lot of reviews, reviews and documentation for the case. Nowhere! I did not find any restrictions on the thickness of the video card. As a result, I bought a video card with a massive three-slot cooling system 55mm thick, which simply did not physically fit in the case, the radiator stuck out from the outside. Empirically installed, the case allows the installation of video cards up to 40mm thick. It is advisable to use a 140mm power…

Pros
  • + Relatively compact, free space inside the case is used very effectively. + Allows you to use standard components without a huge heap of restrictions, as in other compact cases. + Sophisticated cooling system. + Ability to install a two-slot video card up to 310mm long. + Design. Looks decent.
Cons
  • - The case allows the installation of video cards with a thickness of no more than 40mm.

I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

Got pros: - Form factor. It really allows you to cram top-end iron into a small box that can fit into the hand luggage of an aircraft without any problems. For a traveling freelancer who does not accept laptops, this is a good option. - The metal is thick and durable, leaving a dent will not be easy. With its cons. - A large graphics card and a large (ATX) PSU are supported, but not together. As a result, I had to unhook the bracket for attaching the PSU, the purpose of which is not very clear

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

- There is no noise absorber, and when comparing the price tags of this case with ATX analogs from Fractal, you somehow count on it, I was disappointed and surprised when I saw bare metal. Although my NAS doesn’t make any sounds in this “coffin” anyway, it doesn’t interfere with sleep at night (I speak as an irritable person who hears every unpleasant little thing))) ) - The wires must be laid over the PSU, but then one of the baskets will have to be sacrificed. For NAS, this is unacceptable.

Pros
  • - Fractal and that's it - the interior space is used to the maximum. Not every analogue, and even an ATX case, can boast of this. - 6 HDD bays. For me, it is relevant, because. I assembled a home NAS in this case. The reserve for the future on the HDD is very relevant. With a very strong desire, you can place the 7th hard) - A seat for an ordinary ATX power supply - no need to run around the market with bulging eyes and look for a rare beast like in-win's figs-you'll understand-what-size, but you can put almost any common PSU. - HDD activity diode shines, attention, <drum roll> DOWN! TO THE FLOOR! This is amazing! Especially when you consider that the server works at night. Of course, many may say: "yes, turn off the diode and that's it." But I need it to be turned on, so I'm very happy) - The presence of fans in the kit for running air through the entire case and, accordingly, blowing all 6HDDs, with exhaust air blowing out: two 92mm on the front wall and one 140mm on the rear wall. All three turntables are connected to the regular Fractal reobas. Even at maximum speed, I almost didn’t hear anything, though during the day. At night it is better to switch to medium or minimum)
Cons
  • A spoon of tar. - As already mentioned, flat head screws are a bummer. It feels like they were wrapped with an air pistol. Personally, I turned 2 screwdrivers while unscrewing them. For this money, they could actually glue the walls with the famous Fractal noise absorber, as in their ATX form factor cases. - PSU management cable. it is missing in principle. I have a modular PSU, but that didn't help either. - The reobass switch on the back wall is not logical for a mini-server oriented case. - A nitpick: I would very much like to see a power cord with an angled connection to the case in the kit, since the case does not fit on the shelf precisely because the cord protrudes into the wall)))

Good product, not disappointed.

I was looking for a case for a home server. I chose this one - I barely collected it. The rear fan is not quiet, the front ones are quiet only at the minimum adjustment speed. Very difficult to assemble - screws and cutouts for them with poor threads. It is problematic to install more than 4 disks without a video card - there is nowhere to put the wires. With a video card, I think a maximum of 2 can be set.

Pros
  • Lots of HDD bays. You can make a small home server. USB3 connectors.
Cons
  • Not exactly quiet. Poor build quality. Full functionality is not possible.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

I went my own way because I really wanted to shove a 2-section dropsy Aplhacool . As a result, I bought 2 cases: this one and almost the same Core 500 and took a bracket for dropsy on the top wall from the second) (By the way, the donor is sold with hangers for hards from Node 304). It turned out great! The radiator is always cold (Stone 9900KF) The case is open on the table and you can’t hear it at all)

Pros
  • A chic little case that fits in hand luggage! Good cooling, quiet fans Pretty boy!
Cons
  • For me, everything is exactly the same, with the exception that if you put on a casing, then when you bend the tenka inward, it catches the coolers of the video card, but I have an open one on the table)

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

In my opinion, the case fully justifies its price (~ 4000r). It turned out to be a very quiet and powerful computer in a small size. My config: - MB ASRock Z87E-ITX; - CPU Intel Core i5 4670; — Cooler CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO; - PSU Seasonic G360 Gold; - SSD Samsung 840 EVO 250GB; - RAM 2x4GB Kingston HyperX Genesis blu; My case fans are at minimum speed and they always start normally ! Although people write that they start only at an average speed (maybe it's the power supply?)…

Pros
  • - Stylish, high-quality case, it looks cool and everything inside is well-made, no sharp edges, burrs, etc. — Three convenient independent baskets with rubber shock-absorbing inserts for 6 disks (3.5' or 2.5'). If necessary, extra baskets are removed. - Standard power supplies fit. — Possibility to install rather large tower coolers (up to 165mm!). - On the rear wall there is a fan speed control (3 fixed positions). At minimum speed, the case fans run silently. - Included are a bunch of screws, ties, as well as 3 fans: 2 x 92mm and 1 - 140mm. - On the front panel there are 2 USB 3.0 outputs and audio connectors. - Removable dust filters.
Cons
  • No flaws, just quibbles: - one of the racks for the motherboard had to be screwed in with great force ("threading"). - At maximum speed, the case fans are very noisy. - no reset button.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Bought for a home server for 4500r. I read that the fans of this case do not start in the "quiet" position of the reobas. I'm starting. Perhaps this glitch with the start depends on the quality of the PSU. I placed a fanless power supply, 5 disks (WD Green / Red), a mother, a Celeron G1820, a low-profile cooler per cent in the case. Didn't add any other boards. As a result of the load on stress tests and operations of copying terabytes of data from disk to disk, the following temperatures were…

Pros
  • Compact Stylish Quiet at low fan speeds Well made Built-in fan speed controller Convenient installation of components inside the case The presence of anti-vibration pads in the baskets for hard drives with a set of screws for 6 disks Presence of anti-dust filters
Cons
  • No reset button It is inconvenient to unscrew the extreme screws of the disk cages

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

I also use another case from Fractal Design - there is the same problem with the screws out of the box. It turned out to unscrew them (including knurled screws) only with a small gas wrench and a screwdriver . But when you coped with the screws - the case becomes candy =) Has some pros Convenient, practical. Fits 6 discs. If you try, you can shove 2 more. Quiet enough. Doesn't rattle or hum. I had all the fans spinning at a minimum, although the small ones started with a delay. I did not…

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

according to the specification, the maximum size of the video card is 310mm. I have a Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Tri-X with a length of 305-310mm, it fit without problems. I think if you try, you can install a longer video card. they write that the maximum size of modular power supplies is 140mm. this is not entirely true: you unscrew 4 screws, remove the "frame" under the PSU, and you can also place a modular PSU 160mm long (I have Seasonic X-650 installed). if you install a discrete video card,

Pros
  • small, stylish, fit long video cards, vibration isolation of baskets for hard drives. good, quiet stock valves. in general, an excellent option for a home gaming station or for a NAS (but not at the same time).
Cons
  • - thoughtlessly little space under the PSU (more precisely, under the cables coming out of it) - no "reset" button - there is no place even for a slot drive - valves do not start at the first speed

Nice quiet case with few design/quality control issues

I am using this case for a home server (Samba share, web server, backup target etc.). I wanted something cool and calm and found this. The assembly had a few kinks. Nothing major, but they slowed down the construction time considerably. The screws holding the hard drive trays were misaligned and overtightened at the factory, making them difficult to remove without removing them. When I tried to install the motherboard standoffs, I had trouble with the threads in the case. I had to use clamp…

  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • High price

Details are missing - overall a good idea

I like the configuration of this case. The power supply on the front and the motherboard on the bottom allow for a large CPU cooler if you're willing to forgo the drive bays. I found that all the screws should be as tight as possible. This includes thumbscrews, so I had to use a large screwdriver to take this case apart. I also found the included screws confusing. There are different types of black screws. They all seemed to border on stripping when hand tightened or untwisted. The thumbscrews…

Mediocre build quality with otherwise good case design

Other reviewers have noted positive aspects of this case and I agree. It's spacious and well-designed with the Mini-ITX form factor in mind. I like that the Node 304 doesn't have the sound deadening material used in the Fractal Define series. Airflow inside the case is good when you turn on all the case fans, and it's still quiet. Customer support with Fractal has been excellent. Now for the bad: One of the thumbscrew holes on the case was misaligned so it couldn't be removed without tools and…

Defective on arrival

I have had another Node 304 for over 4 years. I recently decided to upgrade my computer but I wanted the same case. I bought another one and unfortunately it has two faulty parts. As you can see from the photos, one of the front fans doesn't spin unless the fan controller is set to medium speed and the case's built-in power strip isn't working. design to see if they replace the fan and cable, in which case I will change my rating. But at the moment I can't give more than 3/5 stars to a product…

  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Great case for NAS on computers and accessories

This case is great for storing six 3.5" drives in a small chassis. My only complaint is the lack of cable management options. After installing six drives and connecting the SATA and power cables, it was something of a rat's nest no matter how I tried to organize the cables. Plus, it looks great and is really tiny. I'm sure you could manage the cables by customizing the lengths and the SATA cables and power cables at the different angles you need. Keep hard drives cool.

Great budget ITX case with lots of cooling options

Great little case. I bought this case for a small office with an AMD 3400G processor. Although this case supports a full-size ATX power supply, I chose the fully modular SFX power supply for space and cable management. That extra cable space up front made a huge difference and would no doubt be even more useful when using a discrete graphics card or water cooling. The only thing I would wish for in this case is a removable mainboard tray. While I don't expect to see this feature at this price…
