The case is warped and the power button doesn't work most of the time.

The case is so badly deformed that it takes me about 40 attempts to attach the top cover, the most annoying thing I've ever done. I have to grab the right and left sides of the case with both hands and push so the tabs hook into the bottom of the case and then slide towards me. But I always skip 1-2 tabs so I have to take it apart and do it over and over again until they all grab it. The power button doesn't always work either. For some reason I have to remove the top cover for the power button

Great Value

If you really don't care how "cool" you "want" a computer case, but want something extremely practical that works for only $40, then this computer case is for you. The most important feature for me was having a solid, clicky power button that doesn't seem to self-destruct with normal use, yes I've built computers for customers a few times. This box has a very simple look and function and as a bonus it also has a slide out DVD drive which some customers still use to backup or archive photos or…

I wanted to assemble an HTPC case because I was replacing my Blu-ray player with spare parts with a really working PC in our bedroom. I finally settled on this case because it has amazing reviews here and pcpartspicker is a fantastic case for the price. If you're building a mini-ITX for the first time (like me), be prepared for cable management nightmares. I could probably search the web for short compatible cables to use for these types of builds, but hmm. It has good airflow and there's no…

Some minor issues but overall good value for money

This was my first mini-ITX build and while there were some fairly minor issues I am very happy with the finished product. Firstly, building in an SFF case like this is quite tedious compared to building in a tower, but I really appreciate the thought that went into this layout and the cramped spaces, I don't think space was really wasted. For starters, you can place a decent CPU cooler here. This was one of the main reasons I chose this one and it pays off. Thanks to a cooler I was able to…

  • Perfect for outdoor activities

I wanted to love this

I have dreamed of this case for a long time. Call me old school but I wanted a small ITX box with an optical drive bay so I could just copy all my old drives to make a small HTPC/Cloud server and drop my Bluray player. There are just a few things I was really disappointed in that didn't make building this thing fun at all. Advantages: 1. Can support 3 SSD and 3 HDD.2. There is also an optical drive bay which was necessary for my purposes.3. Aesthetically pretty on the outside. Cons: 1. The…

Use an SFX PSU if you have a long graphics card

I just bought this baby because I need a tower cooler and my normal case (Master Elite 130 cooler or similar) doesn't have any overhead space Has. The body layout is excellent. The power supply is mounted on the side of the front, not above the processor. Make sure your ATX power supply isn't too deep, or use an SFX power supply. But if you can drive a full ATX power supply, it's less dense and therefore less noisy. This is to accommodate a long GPU without the power cables getting in the way…

Great specs, terrible build quality, and questionable design.

Like the other reviewer, I wanted to like this case. I liked my Define Nano S despite its shortcomings, but this case takes Fractal's shortcomings to the extreme. I bought this case for just a few reasons: 1. I wanted to shrink my Define Nano S even further, reducing it from 26.8 liters to 19.5.2 liters. I wanted an SFF package with good compatibility. It supports full size cards, 170mm CPU gap and multiple 3.5" drives. , but GPU sag has been bugging me for a long time. All of these criteria…

Great compact case

I think the size of this case is a good compromise between airflow and form factor. If you know the size of your average Klipsch home theater speaker, it's almost the same height and width, but 1.5 times as long. The power button is tactile and feels comfortable. I paid 40 something and I think it's a great price. My last build cost 1100 for PC and I wanted my next build to stay within budget and this case helped me with that. Make sure you know how airflow works in a PC and add it if necessary

  • Regular price
