Great value for a base stand

This review is for the 15u. parts makes it incredibly easy to assemble. To be honest, just look at the picture of the assembled frame and you're done. Pleased with the stability of the stand. All mounting holes appear to be standard, although I have to say the included rack bolts/nuts were too big for my HP DL360P - Gen8 rails. This is NOT the rack's fault and all mounting points are perfectly aligned. I just switched to a 5mm hardware that I had idle. The nature of the frame allows you to…

Pros
  • Light and strong, quality craftsmanship yet high payload capacity *400lb capacity.*
Cons
  • Minor

executable result; Don't expect perfection or much help

This is the first post I've seen that doesn't fit everyone U had a number on the outside. But considering the price it's amazing how flexible the width settings are - you can only use this with network gear or real full size rack servers.Although I write below this solves this problem. While the rack is still empty I gather while preparing the wires etc. As this is an empty rack it is not very strong - the rack comes out of the "plumb" position with almost a look, and I hope this gets fixed once

Pros
  • Fits standard 19" wide units. INSTALLATION 22" - 34" deep (post to post)
Cons
  • Doubtful

Well priced, well built, don't assemble alone

Unit couldn't be better for the price. I have the full power of the equipment is in there and it's solid. Doesn't show any impact, don't scare me. The different parts fit together well, all the hardware is there and it's easy to expand and change to the required configuration depth. Although the blocks are labeled for each 1U, they aren't numbered which is a minor downside. For $20 you can put a 42U magnetic stripe and a label on it.This makes it a bit harder to align left and right if you don't

Pros
  • Assembled dimensions: 32"H x 21"W x 31-44"D (base depth).
Cons
  • Defects present

A bit tricky to assemble but nice and strong

Sturdy stand that's fairly easy to set up but the instructions aren't the best. Some common sense is required for assembly. Once assembled you have a nice solid stand that gets the job done. It's a bit heavy, so if you're planning on moving it, it's best to put some wheels on the bottom first, otherwise you'll have to take it apart side by side and move it in half. I love that you can adjust the depth to suit your needs. It's worth it! Eventually I think I'll get a cabinet with more…

Pros
  • Free standing rack, very strong to secure your gear.
Cons
  • Senior Citizen

Inexpensive, well built, do not assemble alone

You can't beat this unit for the price. I've got the full power of the equipment and it's solid. Show no influence, don't scare me. Easy installation, stable and durable

I am setting up a test station/lab to learn more about programming and I need a 4 post rack to house a small server and other equipment. This rack has got you covered: deep enough to hold an HP Proliant DL360 and high enough for everything else. It's really a bit taller than I need, but I'm sure the extra space will be filled soon enough. Installation took less than an hour, but it probably could have been quicker if I was in a hurry. There's a lot of nuts and bolts to hold it all together and…

This is the first switch I've ever seen that didn't have numbers for each U out there.
