I have gray hair that fades to a beautiful blonde over time. This purple shampoo helps my gray hair stay longer and keep its color. When it turns light, it helps prevent copper-orange tint. I've used other shampoos that should help keep the grey/blonde color but it doesn't work as well as this shampoo. Other shampoos would turn my hair copper-orange when my gray hair turned blonde.

Good thing it kills copper in blonde hair that has turned a yellowish/golden hue. However, it dries the hair very much and leaves it feeling like something is covering it. This makes styling more difficult and lengthens my already long blow-drying time. Even when I use a deep conditioner my hair feels like straw. I'm trying to play around with this to maybe find the right balance of mixing it with the shampoo/conditioner so it's still effective but to no avail so far.
