I recently got a new cooker with a lower back than the old one leaving the outlet above the cooker open. The ivory plastic outlet covers that have been in the kitchen for 28 years looked more colorful every day. We have a large kitchen and plenty of outlets, 11 of which are above the apron. Check size before ordering. I searched for "OVERSIZE Switchplates". I found and ordered them and they are beautiful but NOT too big.
