Shocked at how good they are. I am a professional auto repair shop. I bought these on a whim because my Matko set is old and worn out. these cost money. Buy it. Exit the tool carts.

Only bought this product twice and it no longer works, kept it in a case and such. I'm not happy with this purchase and it won't let me do anything in 30 days. I think it's better to buy tools locally if something like this happens.

One of the reasons I ordered this set over others is that it showed a much better real case in the form of a hinge, and no more bad style with valve. I wouldn't buy it if I knew it was that type of hinge because they always fail over time.

Just repeating what another reviewer said, it's fine for occasional/limited use. The cable clamp broke the fourth time I used it, the cable snapped. The locking mechanism leaves a lot to be desired. I wouldn't expect them to last for years, but if you do the occasional tinkering, they'll do the job just fine.

The pliers worked great. So far I have only used long range with cable. Working on a GF Grand Prix and they were needed to remove the lower radiator hose clamp from the radiator side. They probably won't be enough for everyday use, but they get used about a dozen times when I need them. Good quality considering the cost. Just understand that this isn't an old-school handyman or Snap On.

Old techs showed me these in action, great because they have a ratchet so when you squeeze the clamp it holds for you. Simply put on the clamp, press the pawl a little and release, done. There's no locking tool here, but it gets the job done for a small price. Flexible cable is ideal for hard-to-reach places. Used a few times, no signs of wear. All tools work perfectly, I have tested all except the cable clamp. They don't hold the very small spring clips fully open when locked in their tightest position, but they do help them open slightly, allowing you to just push a little and move the clip. However, they look a bit cheap and have the typical leftovers of a cheap tool. and smell so I'm not sure I would trust them as my only set if you use them every day, for example in a shop.
