green light/focus always on. Not good.

I really wanted this product to work. But the first time I did simple single shots, it broke. The green light on the shutter button stays on and focuses the camera at all times. It should turn green/focus on half press and then turn red/take a photo on full press. I sent the remote control back. I will reorder to try another one hoping it was bad. Nice gadget for your photo bag.

I bought one of these but it was stolen from my car so I bought another one. The first, however, was a little different: the RW-C1 model, which was a bit cheaper. The new purchase also went very well. The main differences I notice are that the transmitter doesn't have a small telescopic antenna, and the transmitter and receiver use 2 AAA batteries (4 total). The receiver is connected to the camera and attached to the camera's hot shoe. When using a hot shoe I just loop the cable over the lensโ€ฆ

It worked great for a week

I'm a very busy real estate photographer. I rent 2 to 4 houses a day, mostly 5 days a week and sometimes on weekends. I need wireless shutters to make photography more efficient. Before that I had several VILTORX JY-120-C1. I say a few because I'll have them for about a month and the sender and receiver won't be communicating. The manufacturer's description of how to fix the communication problem was confusing and ineffective, at least for me. I have three in a pack. I assume they willโ€ฆ
