I used them to hang Ikea Pluggis bins on my sewing board

. I was going to use them to hang pictures but ended up using them to attach Ikea plastic boxes to the perforated panel system in my sewing room as Ikea stopped producing the Pluggis line. I had crates but left the mounting bases in our old house when we sold it because they were attached to the pegboard before fitting - meaning I would have to remove them after removing the pegboard - which hasn't had to happen since we sold the house while I was spending the winter in Miami, and I didn't want

Nice. suitable for picture hangers

It's one of those moments where you slap your forehead and say 'Why didn't I think of that before? I never liked the solution - drive in a nail and hang a wire from it. Every time I pass an object, I stop and nudge it a little to straighten it out. Not with these. It's a little more work than just hammering a nail into the wall, but when you're done your art will hang very securely and very straight, forever. They even give you the ability to move your art from side to side a bit in case you…

Adjustable and really well made. I will buy again!

This is phenomenal. I have used them to hang corkboards, heavy framed paintings and mirrors and they are perfect. Here's what to look out for when buying a wall plate: Some adjustment should be possible after installation, which means the screw holes should be slotted. This is how they are processed and trust me when I say you DO NOT want spikes that only have screw holes with no adjustment up or down. If you hang one side (wall or hanging object) even 1/8 inch askew, you can't adjust and it…

I used them to hang Ikea Pluggis bins on my sewing board

Wanted to use them to hang pictures but ended up using them to attach Ikea plastic boxes to my sewing room pegboard system since Ikea has discontinued the production lines called Plaggis. I had crates but left the mounting bases with our old house when we sold it because they were attached to the pegboard prior to installation - meaning I would have to remove them after removing the pegboard - which hasn't had to happen since we sold the house whilst I was spending the winter in Miami and I…

  • Out of fashion

Two of these staples hold the large essential oil organizer my husband made. That's the ONLY thing I would trust to store $500 worth of oils in glass bottles in a cabinet hanging 4 feet off the tile floor. The cabinet is solid and won't budge at all - even when I accidentally slammed into a corner hard enough to scratch my hand and with enough force that it should have knocked everything off the wall, it didn't even wobble. We will be ordering more of these as my friends want him to make…
