Now for the filters for our Honeywell humidifiers. They last about a month and I turn them every night to keep them moist. I think they could last longer but I've tried several brands and read so many reviews I don't think it's possible.

We have to physically STRETCH them as they don't fit and are so tight they don't reach the water. My husband literally hand stretched them after we realized our room didn't have the right humidity. We usually buy Honeywell HAC-504AW, so technically they should work. They don't.

Maintains stiffness and helps to effectively maintain the humidifier during water treatment by algae and bacteria, which prevents the formation of a crust on the filters due to residual water, but causes less expensive filters to lose stiffness, sag and humidifier efficiency reduce.

I have just received these filters for my Honeywell humidifier. They appear to be made exactly like the ones that came with the humidifier when I bought it. There are no complaints about the original filter. It seems to be doing its job. I haven't replaced it with a new one yet but since they are identical I think they will be great. These 4 packs seem like great value for money.

Works well, each filter lasts about a month before it no longer absorbs the water effectively and needs to be replaced. To prolong life and achieve best results, rotate the filter at the base of the humidifier once a week to alternately immerse the end in water. Also, try not to let the humidifier dry before refilling. In my experience, this also shortens the life of the filter.

Fits my Honeywell HCM-350 well. I've been using it for a few days now and its suction seems to be as good as the original Honeywell filter and it's half the price. I always turn filters daily and soak them white every few weeks. vinegar to clean them and make them last longer. I'll update the review in a few months to let you know how it fares going forward. This filter went moldy after ONE use. I even changed the sanitizing light on my humidifier before using it and after one night it had this slimy yellow film and black mold stains on it. I figured it might be a one-time problem, so I rinsed the entire humidifier (tray, water tank, everything) with soap and vinegar and tried a second filter. Same problem. Mold after just a night or two. A total waste of money, wish I could return the entire package but they don't let you figure out the issues…

I was looking for a replacement filter for my germ free humidifier and thank goodness I found it. These filters contain no metal. That's a good thing, because all other compatible replacement filters have a metal ring and always start to smell. the car will fall apart. I have previously used a replacement filter from another popular brand and it was a very thick filter but felt less dense and less stiff - it eventually fell apart after a week of normal use. I would go for the balanced thickness

Our HCM350 humidifier is in operation almost 24 hours a day. So I have a lot of experience cleaning and using a machine with filters. These filters hold up just as well, if not better than others I've tried. I use regular unfiltered tap water. Invert the filter every time I fill the tank and submerge the filter in cold water when the outer layer appears dry when refilling.
