Purchased to install Soss hinges. You need to drill 6 holes. I drilled 3 shallow slots with it, taking about 3/8" each to reach a depth of 13/16". On the 4th pass, the bottom 1/2 inch of the carbide broke off, rendering the drill unusable. 20 bucks down the drain. Freud's quality has definitely gone down the toilet.
