💎 FDS-99-050 Freud Diamond Window Shank Review

I bought this cutter with Freud's cutter 99-051 and used it as a set they allowed me to recreate 100 year old casement windows which no differently than the ones they replaced, other than the fact that they didn't have water damage!

This has been the most difficult woodworking project to date. The beats are great, but the process isn't intuitive. The problem is compounded by the simple instructions contained in each bit. It took me a while to figure this out with a web search. I've spent hours selecting a set of router bits. Having never collected sashes before, I didn't know what to look for. If you have specific inventory needs this is where you should start as some bits are adjustable and others like this set for a very specific inventory size. Be sure to route the material so that it is the same thickness or things will not line up properly.
