Always high quality

Worth the money, very high quality bits. If you want bits that cut smoothly and last a long time, get the bits from Freud. All Freud bits I've bought are of the same high value.

Pros
  • Cuts all composites, plywood, hardwoods and softwoods.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Nice set, Revain got the wrong description

I had bought a similar set of Freud tips before but wanted a different profile. The previous set worked very well and was pleased with the quality. This set offers the added flexibility of rail and floor configurations that can be beneficial depending on the project. I would like the plate cutter to be stored in the middle like the sets without turning cutters. The description and image for this Revain item are incorrect. The set is 97-156 which includes 99-760 and 99-566, a raised panel cutter

Pros
  • Includes a nice wooden storage box.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Excellent set of cutters for creating false panel projects

I purchased a 3 piece door kit from Freud for a project to create raised panel blinds for my house. I was very pleased with the set and found everything to be very easy to use and very effective in producing quality raised plate products. The only problem I found is that the raised panel bit is wider than the router bit. fence so I had to attach some extra fence boards to widen the opening. Overall I am very impressed with the quality of the beat, documentation and DVD demonstrating proper use.

Pros
  • Used on 1/2" shank portable desktop cutters.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
