32-504, 32-524, and 32-526 can also be used as flush cutting trim bits. Wrench included. Cuts all composition materials, plywoods, hardwoods, and softwoods. Use on hand-held and table-mounted portable routers. Set includes 7 bearings: One bearing ships on the bit with 6 additional bearings in the set. NOTE: one of the bearings is nested inside one of the other bearings. This makes the total of 7 bearings. Itโ€™s done this way for shipping purposes.

BUYER WARNING: 32-526 does not come with bearings

Had to return this item as it only came with 1 bit and 1 bearing. The bit must have 7 bearings as stated in the product name, photo and description.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Get a 1/2 " shank!

When you get this bit, get a 1/2" shank if you have the gear for it! The 1/4" shank is too hard to hold the bit in place with a bit this big! If you only have a 1/4" collet, measure the distance between the passes to make sure the drill bit hasn't entered the collet!

  • Easy Install
Cons

Great folding tip

I'm a big fan of Freud's cutting tools and this tip didn't disappoint. Cuts various hardwoods cleanly and runs very quietly. It is well packaged and comes with a good range of bearings to suit different sheet pile depths. Expect this device to last for years and it's worth it.

Freud.bang per dollar

Another Freud product. I use their table saw blades and cutters almost exclusively and this cutter with bearings really solves the problem. It's nice to have one bit (you can think of it as a 'set') that can do so many things. I'm not sure if the pictures on the internet clearly show that this is a scissors and not the typical straight racquet. Nice straight cuts!

It's not as advertised.

This is not as advertised. Issues: 7/8" bearing (for 1/4" cut) will not rotate. The 1 3/8" bearing (for flush cutting) does not rotate. Fits on the machine because it is too big. I got 2 1/2" bearings but not 5/8" bearings The bearings seemed cheap unlike the others I received with the Freud beats.photos to show everything that was included in the package I also contacted Freud customer service to see what they will do (if ever) I'll update this post if/when I get an answer Give this bit a lowโ€ฆ

Definitely recommended.

I need something to make a tongue and groove for a set of speakers I'm assembling. I found this kit and decided to give it a whirlwind. The bit didn't go through the base of my Porter Cable Router so I had to use a small drum sander to pry open the plastic base. I needed a 1/2" tongue and did it in two steps, first with a 1/4" bearing and then with a 1/2" bearing. I replaced the bearings with a router in the router so the No need to readjust depth No vibration no burning I've been grindingโ€ฆ

  • scissors and scissors

Missing Parts in Power Tools and Hand Tools

My advice is to open the box as soon as you receive the bit and make sure all the parts are included. I opened up the racquet today to work on a project and the wrench and 3/8" washer (62-311) were missing. The wrench isn't a big deal (it's 2.5mm) but no washer. That's a big deal. I have a couple of weeks outside of the 30 day return window so I just ordered a replacement disc from Router Bit World rather than asking Revain to make a return exception. Yes, the spare disc was very cheap to buyโ€ฆ

Great cutter, cheap bearings, done!

I built a tool box under the carpenter's workbench and decided to put the back of the carcass with the rabbit in it to put the back there. Since I had already assembled the box, I needed this cutter. The bat worked perfectly, cutting like clockwork. The bearings themselves have an aluminum OD, which is the outside dimension of the bearing. Yes, they look very cheap because they are, but they also won't work 24/7 for five years, should probably be fine for the application. The cutting bit isโ€ฆ
