Good Build power tool parts and accessories

They are made by the same company that makes the router bits you can buy at Home Depot. They appear well built and balanced. I've used all of them so far with no problems. However, the case they enter is very tight. Don't take them out, grab them, you will most likely cut yourself. Use pliers to grab the shaft. I'll probably drill each hole a little to make it easier to get out.

Pros
  • Router parts and accessories
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

They are very sharp but don't seem to be very durable.

delivery was fast. I've heard good things about Freud CNC routers and the day after I got them in the mail I'm ready to install a 1/8" spiral router. First, the bits are so tight in their box that I had to push them out from underneath with a small wooden dowel. At the same time, the bit jumped out, hit the ground, and broke in two. I think for $150 plus shipping they will be tougher considering the need to cut. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • tools and household goods
Cons
  • no instructions

Terrible packaging hope the bits are better

So I must have sprained my sore wrist again taking these bits out of their holders. They are literally glued there by the reaction of a rubber retaining ring and a metal shaft. Wow it took me 20 minutes to really tighten, twist etc etc etc Finally I cut out the little tabs at the bottom that hold the bits in each rubber septum ring. Then the last 3 came out easier because I had to remove the rubber ring, pull, twist, etc. Don't forget to wear rubber gloves so you don't cut yourself. I'm hoping…

Pros
  • Bits
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
