Glass Cutter

The glass cutter was one of my best additions to my set of routers, along with my set of guides and styles, which has allowed me to make cabinet doors and attach different types of glass to update my kitchen cabinet.

does what it does, but is it necessary?

I am divided on this accessory. On the one hand it works exactly as advertised, can't fault that. On the other hand, it seems unnecessary. You have to cut the wood without this one first, then put this router bit on top of the drill bit and just repeat this along the length of the glass panel (if you cut through the whole thing with this router bit you will lose the groove for the track/floor connection). (Instructions don't seem to mention this either) If I move the fence by changing the bit I
