I am divided on this accessory. On the one hand it works exactly as advertised, can't fault that. On the other hand, it seems unnecessary. You have to cut the wood without this one first, then put this router bit on top of the drill bit and just repeat this along the length of the glass panel (if you cut through the whole thing with this router bit you will lose the groove for the track/floor connection). (Instructions don't seem to mention this either) If I move the fence by changing the bit I can just as easily put in an old straight cutter and rip off the tab. In fact, I think you could do better, a smaller radius cutting knife would dig less into the rail groove area.
