A well-made pan in the kitchen and dining room

My wife passed away a few months ago. She was an excellent cook. I'm 88 and have given away all their pots and pans. I usually prefer to eat frozen foods because they require minimal prep and cleanup. I bought this pot in case I need a pot. I haven't used it yet. It is well made and good value for money.

It doesn't say: kitchen and dining room

I was very upset when I got this, it didn't say aluminum anywhere. It cooks well but slightly discolours (whitish color) after use. I expected stainless steel, I've had awards for many years. Having to replace my old one was very frustrating. The leaflet that came with the kit says aluminum sticks in stainless steel.

  • A dream come true

Melted Bottom, Overpriced

I was willing to buy a cheap Chinese pan for $20 but decided a Frigidaire pan twice the price would last longer. I somewhat regret my decision. After 30 days, the bottom of the pan came off. Heat distribution is very average/poor and I think it's made worse by surge/thaw. I would have asked for a refund but at the time (many Covid cases) it was so difficult to send a low priority package like this. Wouldn't order again. See photos!

Love this frying pan on the cookware

Excellent frying pan. My criteria for this cookware was 12″, stainless steel, suitable for induction, glass lid. This pan excels in all of those categories. Many pans do not have a glass lid. If you don't have a glass lid on your cookware, you don't know what you're missing out on. It's great to see something cooking without lifting the lid! This pan has great workmanship, the handle is strong and comfortable, and the second handle is a strong large loop. Very beautiful. Easy to clean and heat…

Good frying pan (so clean the dust after use)

When I used this frying pan for the first time after washing my hands, the inside was very bad, it looked kind of dusty. I was so sad, but then I explored and understood this point of view. Little did I know that this type of dust layer is simply the result of the reaction of chromium and oxygen, that this element (chromium) is in the stainless steel. I just got rid of that dusty look with organic apple cider vinegar. I also know that other white vinegar can be used after cleaning. I write…

Excellent!: Cookware

This pan is exactly what I was looking for. That's a very good weight. When I was roasting a vegetable dish the other night, the heat was distributed very evenly and cleaning was an easy task. This is the nonstick coating I prefer, so you'll need to use some oil to keep the food from sticking, but I'd rather do that than use a nonstick product (personal preference only). All in all I would definitely buy this pan again and plan to look at other cookware that Frigidaire sells - not the company I

Unfortunately disappointed.

I wanted to use this pan a few times before leaving a review. I have previously asked for tips on how to prevent objects from sticking. The manufacturer recommends adding oil after preheating. I think adding oil when frying a bacon, hamburger, or even a grilled cheese sandwich is crazy. Even when I add oil, I still have foods that stick, even over medium-high heat. When used to fry or cook something in a sauce, it works great. After many tries this is being added to pans I no longer use. I've…

Owner rating after 1 month

I ordered this stainless steel pan to replace the expired Nordicware PTFE non-stick coating. My other pan chipped noticeable bits of teflon in my food. And while it's non-toxic and passport-safe, I found it uncomfortable eating plastic in my food every day. Even when I ran a paper towel or cloth over the edge of the pan after getting out of the dishwasher, there were always rust residues. High time for an exchange. After owning this pan for a month, here are my next comments: + Pros:…

I'll never buy a non-stick pan again

I've been in the food industry for twenty years and I'm familiar with stainless steel. wife always liked nonstick; So we stuck to her preferences instead. Bought this pan for my mother in law who always used single layer teflon pans until the coating burned off and fried so much the pan's only good thing is to burn everything in it. . I took great pleasure in throwing away two pans that weren't even recyclable (good for nothing). I love the frigidaire pan. It heats evenly, cooks exceptionally…
