Fast, Efficient and Safe

As a long time user of Copper Safe in cichlid and tropical aquariums I was pleased to find it at Revain. Ideal for quickly eliminating eczema and velvet.

Pond fish didn't work

Our poor mosquito fish has anchor worms and it hasn't worked yet. I poured this into our outdoor pond a week ago and my fish still have worms. There is absolutely no change in their parasites.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Long delivery time

This solved my problem

This solved the problem. Only downside, it killed a couple of my bottom feeders. What is my fault for not removing them before applying the product? But that's okay, because maybe they thought they probably had a piece of Ichk on them and it would further infect the rest of them, who would definitely survive.

This product is amazingly effective

Of all the anti slip products I've used, this one has always worked. It also prevents future infections. Effective for about a month in the water until you change the water or change the carbon filter. If you are not introducing new fish, re-application is not required. Read and follow the instructions.

Didn't help, didn't hurt, very expensive.

It didn't help my fish in any way, didn't slow down or stop parasites. I'm giving it an average rating because I don't think it harmed the fish and maybe I'm just late so I don't want to hit too hard. But by the time you can tell your fish has velvet, it's too late for that, too. The small bottle combined with the large amount needed for a regular tank (20 gallons) also makes it very expensive.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Damaged

Great product - heals velvet in 2 weeks

This product has successfully cured our rooster of moderate velvetiness. I continued the weekly 100% water change, adding Copper Safe plus Aquarium Salt after each water change and covering the tank with a dark towel. It took about 5-7 days to see the effects, but by day 14 there was no sign of velvetiness. Treated the water again after the signs of the disease had disappeared, as recommended on the packaging. Our fish are healthy and happy again!

  • some problems

Finally something works!

I rarely review products but this is an exceptional product. I've had a group of Swordtails and other fish that all got sick with symptoms that looked gross or velvety (flashing, twitching, shaking, pinched fins, lethargy, etc.) but no spots or dust typical of these infections or strong, for example the breath of gillworms indicative. I salt teak and velvet, which is usually effective; and since these fish are very salt tolerant, I dosed a tablespoon per gallon, which I felt would pretty much…

Saved my fish from velvet disease!

If your betta has kinked fins AND it looks like it has gold dust on it, like it's covered in pollen when you shine a flash on it (not a phone flash but a real flash) then you need CopperSafe. First remove all charcoal (charcoal can also be present in replacement filters, so cut them off to remove the charcoal beads that absorb the mediation and render it ineffective) and perform a 50% water change with treated water 24-48 hours ago (CopperSafe can become dangerous to your fish by binding to…
