The helmet was too small. I need a 62cm helmet that can be worn over the head but is very stiff and minimally padded. He would never sit comfortably. A person with a smaller head might be able to add some padding and make it work, but I would suggest you look elsewhere for a better helmet.

To be honest I was skeptical about the description and reviews but decided to give this helmet a try. I'm glad I did. Lightweight, comfortable and really protects your eyes from the sun. I liked it so much that I bought another one in a different color. So far, two other gentlemen I ride with have also bought it.

I found it difficult to wear conventional bicycle helmets. It's like the baseball helmet you see in baseball parks. It feels like it's covered in leather and feels more durable than the bike helmet I had (with the styrofoam insert). Also, it's cheaper than others I've seen in stores or advertised online. Big purchase for me because I will wear it!

So far I love this helmet with the visor attached. With other helmets I always have trouble buckling the straps under my chin and then unbuckling and removing the helmet. This helmet is easy to use and fits great. It also has wonderful padding on the inside. The only drawback in my opinion is that it has neither a reflector nor a rear light, otherwise I would have given it a full 5 stars.

After receiving the "helmet" I knew immediately something was wrong. The padding inside is just a soft thin pillow. There are no shock pads, it's usually some kind of rigid foam. It's just a pillow and then a hard plastic cover. it offers no real protection. it's as good as wearing a thick hat instead of a helmet.
