Bad quality good for crankshaft

bad quality. I can't get the gasket out The screws are too small. You'll need to get some drywall screws to make it work. Must do a handle to install a new one

Fell apart on first use. Don't waste your money with this tool!

Made from cheap carbon ceramic material and will break with minimal effort. I should know better when buying cheap tools. You get what you paid for!

It was not possible to remove the crankshaft oil seal on the N55.

The puller tool does not grip the gasket well enough to remove the old gasket. Fiddled with it for 2 hours. Borrowed the same tool from the AST brand and pulled it out in minutes.

Job Done - Parts

Replaced the front oil seal on the N54 engine. Tried to use the screw in the extractor to no avail, even after screwing it in as best he could a couple of times. Finally I used a flat adapter with sheet metal screws and unscrewed. The installation of a new seal was not long in coming. I hope I never have to use this tool again.

Did what it was supposed to do

Was a little nervous about buying a (much) cheaper tool set but took the risk for just one order. The bottom line is that it probably doesn't even play in the same league as the more expensive options in terms of quality. However, I have changed 3 different crankshaft seals without changing or slowing down any parts. I was just very careful and didn't rush or force anything. Bottom line, he did exactly what he was supposed to do.
